I had a somewhat unusual pathway. After a General Academic Studies Degree in accounting, I became ill and – for reasons unrelated to my illness – I realized that I had no desire to continue down that same road. I looked into the different types of training on offer and I quickly understood that, in being recognized as a worker with a disability, I would be supported along the way. By enrolling at the Mulhouse Rehabilitation Center for training to become a Senior Technician in IT and Telecommunications Networks, I was put in touch with the association who offered me an apprenticeship within Alcatel Lucent, who supported me with administrative tasks (housing, organization, social workers…). I pursued my studies to eventually get my degree in IT networks at IUT in Vélizy. Now, I’m in my final year of my Masters at UVSQ and I’m certain that I wouldn’t have made it without @talentEgal.
